We flew to Chiang Rai from Bangkok and we traveled and visited a few places here, I really hope you like the video and please feel free to leave me any comments or suggestions and please remember to Subscribe to my Channel.  Lets go ! 1# Wat Huay Pla Kang Wat Huay Pla Kang in Chiang Rai, also known as “Big Buddha of Chiang Rai”, is known for its enormous white statue of Guanyin. The recently built temple sits on a hill in the rural area North of Chiang Rai town.Wat Huay Pla Kang is a mix of Thai Lanna and Chinese styles. On the grounds are a huge statue of Guanyin, a nine tiered pagoda and a Thai temple. Surrounded by green hills, Big Buddha of Chiang Rai is a great place to watch the sunset. Visit early morning or late afternoon to enjoy the serene, peaceful atmosphere. 2# Golden Triangle (Southeast Asia) The Golden Triangle is the area where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong rivers.The name "Golden Triangle"—coined by the CIA—is commonly used more broadly to refer to an area of approximately 950,000 square kilometres (367,000 sq mi) that overlaps the mountains of the three adjacent countries. 3# Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) Wat Rong Khun, perhaps better known to foreigners as the White Temple, is a privately owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It is owned by Chalermchai Kositpipat, who designed, constructed, and opened it to visitors in 1997 4# Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple) The Blue Temple is immediately recognizable for its brilliant shade of rich sapphire. The temple walls, roof, and surrounding statues are all covered in this gorgeous hue, an unusual decorative choice in a country where most temples are made of gold. This color is symbolically associated with purity, wisdom, and the lack of materialism that Buddhists aspire to. 5# Chiang Rai Clock Tower It is located in the tra c circle of Banpha Prakan Road, Suk Sathit Road, and Chet Yot Road. With the support of the Chiang Rai Municipality and designed by Achan Chalermchai Kositpipat - a National Artist - this is one of the most beautiful clock towers in Thailand that was built in 2005 to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. There is a 5-minute light and sound display at this golden clock tower every night at 7.00 p.m., 8.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. 6# Baan Dam (Black House) Chiang Rai A short drive from the middle of Chiang Rai city, Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Baan Dam is a thought-provoking combination of sanuk, the surreal and the sombre and whilst it’s fair to say that some of the artwork and themes on display won’t be to everybody’s liking, I’d still recommend checking out the Black House if you are visiting Chiang Rai.
