What is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath? It's a heavy song, but there is more. Well, it depends on what one interprets it to be. Some have attributed it to Bloody Sunday of Northern Ireland. Some believe it to mean the struggle of the soul. The most common description is the struggles of touring and life in the band Black Sabbath. Shortly after the band recorded this album they actually broke up. Having been in several bands myself, I tend to believe it's the last description. "Bloody" is actually like British slang for a "F**K". Replace the song title with that and you understand. It would almost be like saying Work Bloody Work. One thing we can all agree on is this song is HEAVY! Powerful riffs and thick bass and drums. Totally heavy metal! Bill Ward really laid down a groove on this track.
