Dundee to Aberdeen part 1 to Stracathro

I don't know why, but I just love Dundee. A real city, but not too big, just right. I love the shopping: the Overgate. And I very much like the flags flying opposite Desparate Dan: makes you feel welcome there. When travelling to our destination, we usually stay at a Travelodge. You know: just to sleep, make some coffee, take a shower in the morning and be on your way again. But this Travelodge was a nice surprise. This was the first time we had a real bar for a nightcap. And a restaurant room for a real breakfast! Well done, Travelodge! This is one hotel we most certainly will return to. We also had a good night sleep, BTW... We did plan to travel to Aberdeen this day, so here is the trip. It's in 2 parts, no good reason, it's is just in two parts because of the camera running non-stop for 40 minutes making one file, 40 minutes for the second file and so on. We cut it down a bit and show certain recognisable points/places on the way, so you can follow the route and don't get too bored. Strangly, these movies are very satisfying to watch, hypnotising almost. They don't have any special meaning or hidden messages, it is just sharing with those who like to have a peek. Enjoy!
