Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Burger: Tailgating Season has Begun!

Today I'm firing up the Weber Q and grilling a mashup of two of my favorite tailgating foods: Jalapeño poppers and burgers. Let's get hungry. Ingredients: 80/20 Ground beef Cream cheese Shredded cheddar cheese Cajun rub Jalapeño peppers Bacon Make popper filling with a dollop of room temperature cream cheese, a handful of shredded cheddar, cajun rub, seeded and diced jalapeño pepper, and chopped, cooked bacon. Stir together. Using burger press, form a burger and create a pocked for the filling. Stuff burger with popper filling. Place more beef on top and seal together. Add olive oil, salt and pepper to patty. Grill on Medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side. Serve on a toasted brioche bun.
