She was unconscious, and her chances of survival were slim. A compassionate local man found her and immediately took her to the clinic. After reaching out to us, we stepped in to help. The medical team conducted an X-ray and a thorough examination. The results were devastating: severe traumatic brain injury, cerebral edema, a skull fracture, and misalignment of her cervical spine. Her condition was critical, and the road to recovery seemed long and uncertain. ⠀ We decided to give her a name that reflects her strength and resilience. A name with meaning and power. We named her Eva. Eva fought with everything she had. Even in her fragile state, she was determined, holding on with remarkable courage. Morning brought hope. Eva's condition had stabilized. She was eating well and responding to the care she was receiving. Little by little, she was becoming more alert, and her once fragile body began to heal. Our strong little hero was showing signs of improvement. Eva’s cerebral edema began to slowly subside, much like the sun breaking through after a long, stormy night. Each day brought a little more clarity, a little more strength. Her body was healing, and so was her spirit. The road to recovery wasn’t easy. Eva had to relearn how to walk, her steps shaky at first, unsteady like a newborn foal. Physical therapy became a daily part of her routine, helping her regain balance and control. The once helpless puppy was now determined to stand tall again. With every session, she grew stronger, her coordination improving, her legs supporting her with more confidence. It was as if Eva had decided she wouldn’t just survive—she would thrive. Step by step, she pushed through the challenges, her resilience shining brighter than ever. Though Eva lost her sight, she quickly adapted to her new world with astonishing grace. At only seven months old, she has her whole life ahead of her—one that will be filled with love, joy, and care. We are confident that an incredibly happy life awaits her! Eva has become a symbol of resilience. She is affectionate, gentle, and endlessly loving. She's been vaccinated and is now fully recovered. Eva's personality shines through—friendly with other dogs, cats, and especially people. Her heart is open to everyone, and she spreads love wherever she goes.
