The development of my projects began. And among these, Super Mario Advance 5 - Super Mario Bros. is back! However, there is that annoying and complicated moment in programming when I need to create a way to facilitate something that I don't know how to do. This is the subject of today's programming video. I start the video by playing, but you can notice several color errors in the Goombas... this is the color function that I invented, but which is not added to their objects. For this I need an auxiliary object, and a global function (this affects everything and never loses the number placed, unlike the others, it can be placed on any object that will maintain the number that is there, as with scores, coins , lives, etc...). This global function is already present in: Super Mario Wonderland, Super Mario Bros 3 (SMB1 style), Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Classic Players and Super Mario Bros. Proto Remix, all these projects derived from Super Mario Advance 5. It's the same source from Super Mario Advance 5 modified to act like an NES. I'm still updating the platforms and updating Mario's physics, which are different in this video! I used the same ones from Super Mario Wonderland (copying and pasting) then modified the gravity of the jump to be similar to that of SMB1 on SNES. As all Super Mario Advance use the original codes from the SNES games, you will see something very close to the first versions, but in this one I apologize for not being completely the same, as they are my own codes made by me and the original creator of the source file (Hello, from Hello Engine). Therefore, some things will not be the same or completely similar as they should be, even if I am aware of how they are and every detail that was done in the original. Some things seen in the video will be changed in the future! I think about putting Bowser's flag in place of the star flag at the top of the castle in level 4 of each world and putting another "Perfect" indicator. All of Mario's programming, as much as I'm telling you that I copied and pasted, I also had to make changes to jumping and gravity, but that wasn't a first-time hit!
