RANS aircraft factory open hanger / fly-in 2018 | GKF S-6S

**Had to remove the music during my intro as 9 months later somebody decided to make that piece of music no longer copyright free.** Took my zipper big bore RANS S-6S out to Hays KS to visit my friends at RANS during the 2018 open hanger fly-in. The weather was pretty crappy overall... delayed by fog on the way there a couple hours, stuck an extra day as a blizzard blew through, but all in all we had a great time. RANS always does a wonderful job during these open hangers! This time I tried to show what all goes on at RANS, the facility is incredible! The employees are also awesome people to be around. Thanks Randy, Michele, and RANS crew! Always fun to fly at low elevation, ground rolls were almost non existent, climbing at 12-1300 fpm with just me, 950-1050 with dad and fuel and baggage! IAS was ~115 with way too little prop pitch.. amazing performance on a heavy S6 with a speed wing! Thanks for watching! I tried to get some up close video of the S-21, I also took a ride in a Titan powered S-20 Raven. Sorry the filming for that wasn't great just holding my phone. The titan performed well, we were very heavy at the time, and it still climbed out above 1200fpm at a pretty high speed. The S20 is an absolutely beautiful airplane, and of course so the is the S21 Outbound.
