San Esteban de Gormaz is a historic village located in the beautiful province of Soria, Spain with a population of 3,045 inhabitants. Only 68,6 km from Soria. It has a rich history dating back to Roman times and was strategically important during the Middle Ages. The town features architectural landmarks such as the 11th-century Romanesque Church of San Miguel. Also known for its wineries but today they´re used as cave houses. While the town may not be as famous for its wineries there are indeed wineries and vineyards in and around San Esteban that contribute to the local wine culture.
