Triangle Strategy: Defeating the Archduke | Hard, deathless/no revives, no items, no quietus

This mission is utter pain, Gustadolph and his mage buddies do 7 billion damage AND you have to defend Exharme from it. While Exharme is a good green unit stat wise, his HP stat is very below average, meaning even his high defense won't last him long. Gustadolph has a massive range 4 TP ability you MUST bait out. Tips: You can literally ignore the entire right side by the castle, they are programmed not to move unless you move a few tiles past the large house, or step foot on the house, or near the palace. They do not care if Gustadolph is fighting or not, just if you're standing too far forward or not. The two shieldbearers look annoying but they're SAVING GRACES, you actually do not want to kill them immediately, if your units are standing around the bridge area, Exharme will elect to fight with you against the shields, you can bait the left side out to keep him occupied while Gustadolph approaches. This also gives you must needed time to get your act together before Gustadolph arrives. The left side honestly isn't that difficult, the hawk knight is too far to save his two comrades, you need only worry about the ice mage, but there's a variety of ways you can deal with them, you needn't worry about triggering the right side, you'll have to be pretty far to do that, I opt for proper positioning for avlora then using roland to finish the job. The Elite Aesfrosti Swordfighter can suck but he's only one swordfighter, just be wary of physical counter and sweeping slash. The hawk knights are annoying, but they have rest wings, and I guess rest wings makes their AI very jittery and scared, they'll never even so much as bother to finish fights, they'll take only a few hits before they run away again, you will probably have to burst them down, but on the upside it means they interfere with other matters less and require less resources to ward off. Lastly, Gustadolph... Gustadolph is VERY aggressive on this map, he will sit on the balcony overviewing the battle for about 2 turns before he starts to move towards the house, he'll keep moving until he reaches the corner of the house, he'll get distracted by enemies yes, but once he's up there he tends to not move much, however the limited space makes it PERFECT for Jens to throw him off with a spring trap, and with him isolated you nuke him down, you have to be very careful still. Gustadolph has insane strength, 70 strength is absurd, it's THE highest boss strength only rivaled by Rufus. Not to mention 65 magic attack, he will 2 shot nearly every unit on your team tank or not. It'd probably be worthwhile to pack 2 healers. He also has a 4 TP attack you can easily enough bait with dragon's shield etc. He uses it first in the fight if he can, and it ruins his TP cost. With Jens you can knock him all the way down to the floor where all your units congregate and then beat him up. He'll put up a fight, but without the right side doing anything and by now most of the left side down, he's all alone. The hawkbow can be furied, killed, or shoved down later. Once that happens, you'll want everyone to rush the right, be careful, the mages still have insane damage, you'll want to stagger or debuff them. The Aesfrosti swordfighters are not elites, which means they have Crippling Blow, this means they can also do insane damage to units, be on your guard, the elite bow can be blinded or shut down well enough and the shieldbearer is honestly just a nuisance. The elite healer of course should be prioritized too, send a unit to execute them like milo or anna, giving TP to ally mages will haunt you. The superbly high damage of the enemies on nearly all fronts (hawksword dives, crippling blow, like... All of Gustadolph's kit, the mages) means that you should pack as much negation and shutdown as you can while also having high damage in order to destroy Gustadolph as fast as you can. Benedict's dragon shield, eradors king shield, Jens and his traps, milo, anna and slumber stab, Lionel, etc. While packing high damage, avlora, seranoa, roland, maxwell etc. It's a very tough battle in this challenge, as a frontal assault is entirely out of the question. Exharme is a liability at first, you need to slow down intentionally to have him get himself busy, so he doesn't rush and trigger the right side. However, Exharme does have abusrd strength of 62, not to mention sandstorm is 1 TP and decreases attack and physical defense, and honestly, he's not a bad DPS unit. Once you knock Gustadolph down, or otherwise incapacitate or rush him, Exharme is not a bad unit to let handle Gustadolph, between the debuffs, his insane attack, and great physical and magic def, you need only watch his low HP. After that you might want to hand him a few buffs, he does have great mobility and will use that well. If you can beef him up, he will rush in with you and you can slaughter the right side's guards. Overrall, a hard fight, but Jens makes the fight quite nice. I enjoyed it even if it made me angry.
