In the war-battered capital of Grozny, policemen and Chechen fighters have been checking vehicles at roadblocks for guns and explosives. Starting on saturday 25th of January, the military regime in Gronzy will cease to exist and security will be strengthened even further. No armed people, unless authorized will be allowed to walk around with rifles or guns on their shoulders. The order will be heavily enforced.
