Minelab Equinox 3.0 Software Update, Testing 4kHz & Live Digs!

In this video I show how to update your Minelab Equinox metal detector with the new 3.0 software update. Minelab claims this software update has “improved stability”, and also adds a unique 4kHz frequency to the arsenal. Minelab states that 4kHz is good for finding larger deeper targets. In the video, I use 4kHz to test live digs and compare it with other single frequencies as well as multi-frequency. I was extremely surprised by how smooth the detector felt—especially in single frequencies in comparison to my experience before the 3.0 update.
