We have been so curious about what has changed on this drive up through Canada to Alaska in the last 6 years since we visited, and even with some of the same exact stops along the way, we had such a great time experiencing it again! The key pieces of this trip that are totally different than the last time we visited are: 1. We were only 3 months into our new full-time RV life when we made this drive for the first time in 2018 so we had a lot to learn, 2. We are in a completely new kind of RV which is allowing for a different type of travel and 3. The girls are now old enough to capture this trip on their own, and it has been such a joy to see their creative skills soar! We cover a lot of stops on our way up the ALCAN which included Moraine Lake, Liard Hot Springs (NOTE: you can’t enter before 7am or after 7pm and also, it feels like you are entering Jurassic Park now!), the Sign Post Forest, the Alaska Highway sign at Mile Marker 0 and of course, the terrible roads around Destruction Bay! Crossing back over the border into Alaska was surreal. We can’t wait to share more of our incredible Alaskan adventure with you!
