One of the World's Best Peking Duck | Visiting Vancouver's Chinatown

As the new year begins, I look forward to going to visiting many new places and have been reminiscing on the buffets I've dined at over the last year. The Dragon Pearl in Toronto was fantastic and so was the amazing buffet in Queens New York; all of whom served Peking duck, and this spurred on my craving for some crispy, juicy, fatty Peking/Beijing Duck. Luckily in Vancouver, there is a wonderful place for such a magnificent feast. Quan Ju De is a world famous Peking Duck restaurant with the first restaurant having started over 150 years ago. Serving approximately 2 million ducks a year, I was about to add to that number and make it 2,000,001. QJD opened a branch in Vancouver and I am grateful to give it a try. It also gets better because I'm joined by my two very good friend, Monique and her daughter Harmony. But before meeting up, I thought I'd get Harmony some sweet treats and that would take a visit to my favorite donut shop which just happens to be in Vancouver's Chinatown.
