Welcome to UUM International School! The purpose of this (new) promotion video is to inform you of some aspects of school life here at UUMIS. UUMIS is one of the pioneering International schools in the Northern part of Malaysia and is fully owned by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) through its subsidiary. UUM is a large, prestigious public university in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. We offer a current, relevant and engaging curriculum, all in English, with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy which are crucial for students in the early years. Our students also have access to a variety of specialist curriculum areas including Physical Education, Sciences, Visual Arts, Information Technology, Arabic language and Malay Language. Students coming from Muslim families also attend Islamic classes. UUMIS is all about developing the whole child. It is our endeavour to ensure learning is enjoyable, challenging and engaging.
