Sahana Bajpaie’sparents were both political science professor at the University of North Bengal. At the age of 13 Sahana Bajpaie started singing. She took her music lesson from her father Bimol Bajpaie and learnt to sing at the age of thirty.In 2007, she released her debut album Notun Kore Pabo Bole, which was a collection of Rabindra Sangeet. In 2016 Sahana Bajpaie released her solo album Mon BandhibiKemone.
