Comparison of 6 and 12 dB Crossover network in a 2 way speaker system

#makingloudspeaker Crossover network specifications are indicated by dB/octave. This means how much low and high frequencies are mixed at the crossover point. While designing a crossover network, we first determine the crossover frequency. This is the cut off frequency where the high frequencies going to woofer and low frequencies going to tweeter are restricted. Depending upon the mixing of audio frequencies at crossover point, the values of components for a network are calculated. As the value of dB per octave increases from 6 dB, 12 dB or 18 dB, the sound output cut off at crossover frequency get sharper which means we get only low frequency from the woofer and only high frequency from the tweeter. In this video; you can get an idea about how the sound output changes at cross over frequency by using a 6 dB or 12 dB network Thank you *** If you like the video, please subscribe the channel – It is free To contact me, you can send Email at : [email protected] You may follow my blog : : https://www.makingloudspeaker.com My instagram account :   / alomukh   My facebook page :   / clearandnaturalsound   Key words : #crossovernetwork #6dB_and12dB_network #crossoverfrequency #2wayspeakersystem
