At the club Sonny talks to Luke and tells him that Joe Sculley has ideas about wanting to take over. He confides in Luke about why he feels he owes Joe and tells him his life story and how Joe came into the picture. But Luke believes that it is time to cut the strings and to draw the line with him. Sean Donnelly shows up with questions concerning Joe Sculley. Luke warns Sonny he doesn't need that kind of hassle and he needs Sonny to be straight with him. Sonny assures him he will find his way out of it. Joe Sculley shows up and Luke gives him attitude. Sonny tries to calm Luke down by telling Sculley that the club doesn't have anything to do with his other enterprises. Luke tells him that he doesn't own the club anymore and that he needs to leave town. He doesn't pay for protection from anyone. Joe goes to leave and tells Sonny they will talk later.
