The John P Saylor trail near the Laurel Highlands is a mix between the highlands and the Dolly Sods. Though not incredibly scenic, it is a great beginner loop where you can condition and have a great time. Trails used - Day 1: 7 miles JPS to Middle Ridge Loop Campsite #1 was to the left of the bridge near the shoreline, there's a couple firepits there spaced about 80 feet apart from each other.
