Today we are doing a detailed totorial on the 3527 module in the LEGEND REBORN, the newly released DW6640, a recreation of the legendary Navy Seals watch the DW6600. After more than 20 years out of produtcion, Casio decided to reintroduce the DW-6600 in the Limited 40th anniversary Remaster Black series! The new DW-6640 is a faithfull recreation style wise but the functions have changed. While the original DW-6600 was the first Casio to use full EL backlight, this one uses an LED upping the battey life from 2 up to 5 years, while using the same CR2016. It also has a better countdown timer with AUTO repeat function and settable up to 24 hours in one second increments, unlike the original that had a 60 minute one. Sadly the stopwatch is a regular 24 hour stopwatch, while the original one had a pre-start function and target time setting. The strap has major G-Shock models embossed with their year of intruduction, starting with the DW-5000,the first ever GShock and ending with MRG-B5000 making it a total of 45 models listed.
