MEOVV has officially made their debut in the K-pop scene with the release of their first single, "MEOW." The group's debut showcase was held online on the 6th. MEOVV is a girl group formed by Teddy, the producer known for his work with YG Entertainment artists such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK. The group consists of five members: Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella. Gawon expressed her feelings, saying, "I'm so happy to finally stand on the debut stage I've been dreaming of for so long, and I'm truly grateful to everyone who has supported us all this time. Ella further noted, "We used 'VV' instead of 'W' to add a visual twist, which actually ended up representing each member. I loved the name from the moment I heard it." Their debut digital single, "MEOW," features a catchy melody and an addictive bassline that highlights MEOVV's diverse identity. During their debut showcase, MEOVV premiered both the music video and their first performance.
