Another "NICE"-man year but I wasn't complainign because it gave me a good excuse to kit the Black Magic Painted Enve MOG out with all the extra gravel bits. I was so excited to race this bike and just overall excited for Iceman. It's one of my favorite races of the year. Such fast paced aggressive racing and the vibe is all time. Woodchip Hill and Icebreaker Hill, all the way into the finish, feels like world championships. Thank you everyone who was up against the barriers yelling and cheering. Stoked on 3rd place, especially after getting dropped from the front group with 15 miles to go. Brian, Dax, and I kept pushing though and just like in years past they sat up and eased the pace, which allowed us to make contact just at 3 miles to go. Then I had a fire lit under me.
