Tomb Raider II (1997) Playthrough (No Commentary)

Tomb Raider series:    • Tomb Raider Series   This is the PC version using Peixoto's patch, which you download at your own risk. Your antivirus and Windows will throw a fit when you do. I won't tell you it's perfectly safe, because I don't know for sure. One of the features of Peixoto's patch is the ability to replace the pre-rendered cutscenes, which I've done. I'm using remastered and upscaled pre-rendered scenes produced by LeonDeka. I'm playing one-handed with keyboard controls. Each level is presented as if it was done in one go. No deaths are shown. There are quite a few edits. None are particularly notable. I will be skipping every single secret. They're not secrets in most cases and going after them would certainly add at least 30 minutes to the video. This doesn't mean I waste a lot of time taking advantage of the AI so that I can kill them with the default pistols. I generally did not bother conserving ammo. After I completed the game, I went back and redid the first two levels. The final statistics at the end here will be slightly incorrect as a result. Mostly just the time. My movement improved as I played through the game and I wasn't happy with those two levels after reviewing the footage. During the Maria Doria level, the inventory screen is upside down. I don't know why. Also, again in the Maria Doria level I make a mistake early on with one of the switches. I hate this level for all of its block pushing and didn't want to redo the entire thing so I live with my mistake. Finally, yes I am aware that I can switch weapons and use items without opening the inventory. I just didn't. I would guess that over the nearly 5 hours of this video, the inventory screen takes up maybe a minute, minute and a half in total not counting when it's necessary to use a key or similar, as opening the inventory is unavoidable in that case. 00:00 Intro 03:25 The Great Wall 10:34 Venice 22:32 Bartoli's Hideout 36:35 Opera House 1:00:25 Offshore Rig 1:17:21 Diving Area 1:37:13 40 Fathoms 1:47:41 Wreck of The Maria Doria 2:10:54 Living Quarters 2:25:20 The Deck 2:40:40 Tibetan Foothills 2:58:29 Barkhang Monastery 3:24:03 Catacombs of Tailon 3:35:37 Ice Palace 3:44:26 Temple of Xian 4:14:31 Floating Islands 4:32:09 Dragon's Lair 4:36:57 Home Sweet Home 4:41:56 Credits 4:43:04 Total Statistics
