The church of John the Evangelist stands in an area of Sandbach Heath, about 1 mile to the northeast of Sandbach in Cheshire, England. It's an active Anglican parish church, in the deanery of Congleton, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. The church was constructed in yellow stone from the village of Mow Cop, with red sandstone dressings, and was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, a prolific English Gothic Revival architect.
