...as seen from my 1969 Macon MR7. It seems like the Formula Ford run group gets the worst of the weather every time. I know, statistically, that's impossible, but at least over the last couple of years that is objectively true. This race was complicated by a recent rainshower, a drying track, and continuing sprinkles that affected different areas around the track. Additionally, a mid-race black-flag-all complicated the final results. The top four cars were just past the flag station when it came out and so were not captured on the same lap as the rest of the field. One of those four leaders misbehaved under the black flag and so was pulled from the race. The remaining three were at the back of the field and so the rest of us in the top 10 had no opportunity to see them until the group photo after the race.
