Testing Rocky's New OEM Tow Hooks! (Jeep WK Grand Cherokee)

Oi folks! As my last video suggested, the next day after installing the neat red OEM Tow Hooks to Rocky, we went straight to testing it all out! Check the video out to see what happens! This is a simple mock recovery where the recovered is in neutral and off the brake pedal while the recoverer is in 1st gear and low range (if applicable) Don't exactly take my word for it, but my friends said when they purchased the hooks for Rocky and I (as a gift), that the hooks were rated at x1.5 of the WK's weight, which is actually pretty dang good. (Still not as good as shackles, but much safer and easier to use than shackles personally for me). Our setup incorporated the use of: ---x1 Smittybilt snatch strap with up to 20% rigidity rated with about 32,000 lb breaking capacity (I believe) ---x1 tow strap (NOT to be used without the snatch strap as that's very bad and puts too much shock on the frame when used improperly and by itself. We only used the tow strap as an additional extension during the front tow hooks recovery. Also 30,000 lb breaking capacity) ---x2 cheap budget dampers (aka our jackets lol) ---Electrical tape to wrap around Rocky's hooks so that they held in place, although they weren't necessary. Just more of a safety precaution. They were snug on the hooks, even without the tape Notice too that we used a honking system to communicate between each other. We conducted these tests responsibly, double-checking that no cars in that particular neighborhood were passing by before doing the snatches. A honk was the all clear symbol basically.
