Hello guys! For today’s video, I will share with you the affordable health cards or health insurance that we have here in the Philippines. I want to share this with you just in case you are looking for cheaper alternatives to health insurance or HMO. I am so excited to share with you the prepaid health cards that we have here in the Philippines. These are just very cheap health cards. I checked this website guys for the different health providers: https://mariahealth.ph/ There are many health providers here in the Philippines. To name a few, we have Philcare, Maxicare, Insular life, Medicare, and many more. As low as P800, you can now be covered for unexpected accidents, sudden illness, and medical emergencies for P50,000 coverage. However, since these are not comprehensive health plans. Don’t expect na lahat ng benefits is ma aavail mo in just one card but instead you’ll get to choose the exact coverage you need. There are cards for outpatient only, for consultation, and for admission so the prices vary also. But if you want comprehensive plans, they also have that one but it is more expensive. In my case, I chose PhilCare ER Vantage Plus Adults 80k, P1,750 a year. COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS: (Source: https://mariahealth.ph/) 1. What are the exclusions? It depends upon the type of card so it is better to read the information related to the card you chose. ER Vantage Plus does not cover consultations. Pre-existing, congenital, and maternity-related conditions. 2. Can I still use the remaining balance if availment is below the benefit limit? One-time use only regardless if the benefit limit is consumed or not. 3. Is there a limit on the number of times I can register a prepaid health card in my name? There is no limit as to the number of vouchers you register under your name in that year. The second voucher can only be registered after the first one is used. One active voucher at any given time. 4. Do I need to have PhilHealth coverage? PhilHealth coverage is required once admitted. However, for those who are not covered by Philhealth, one may pay the PhilHealth portion of the hospital bill before being discharged from the hospital. 5. Is my health card transferable? Once activated, your coverage is non-transferable. 6. How do i know if my hospital/doctor is accredited? Where to buy: Maria health (add to cart), Lazada Conveniently emailed to you within 24 hours upon confirmation of payment, eVouchers allow you to print your health plan at home. Register online at www.philcare.com.ph/prepaid-card/register/register/ Your eVoucher will be activated 7 days from registration. Once activated, eVouchers are non-transferable. Present your eVoucher with a valid ID.
