An evening rush-hour walk in Central Osaka. From JR Osaka Station's Bridge Gate, to the top of Osaka Station City, down to Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, and back to JR Osaka's Loop Line platform. July 23, 2024, filmed in HD on a DJI Mobile. Umeda is the biggest downtown area of Osaka, and contains Japan's 3rd busiest station, JR Osaka - apparently the 5th busiest in the world. I came in early evening, just as commuter rush-hour was easing off. Umeda is linked to all parts of Kansai via trains services from JR Osaka Station, Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, Osaka Metro's Umeda Station and Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station. It's one station away from JR Shin-Osaka, the gateway to the Shinkansen bullet train and the rest of Japan. JR Osaka Station itself is a densely packed city of shopping areas, restaurants and relaxing rest areas.
