There are many different types or ways to get a Master's degree. But a majority fall into two categories: Research based and teaching based. In the former you'll be expected to place a much higher emphasis on actual research and work in the lab, whereas with the latter you'll focus more on learning about new concepts. In this video we have one of our tutors breaking down the various components that go into getting a master's degree, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of choosing one over the other type.
