This is my guide to Pamilacan Island in Bohol where I stayed overnight. I'll show you how I got there, accommodation on Pamilacan Island and things to do on the island. I went 6 weeks after the typhoon and as of yet they did not have electricity back as yet. Admittedly I didn't have the best of sleep. The next morning I went snorkelling around the island. I was able to see some turtles, corals and fish. The island is a really laid back place, great for those wanting to escape the busy hussel and bussel of the city. Located only an hour off the mainland of Bohol. Not only is it good for overnight stays (or longer) it's a popular island hopping day trip from Panglao Island. I stayed at Liwayway Sa Bohol a beautiful rustic resort on Pamilcan Island. Probably the best place to stay on the island. The place can be booked on Agoda or Booking.com. Other accommodation options on the island include Mary's Cottages and Ena's Cottages. Have a look on Air bnb for some options as well.
