Turning Coffee Makers into Cash: 1/2 Kilo of Aluminum Recovered!

In this video i will show you how i recovered 1/2 a kilo of aluminum / aluminium into ingots from several heating elements out of scrap coffee machines / coffee makers, so i guess its a kind of can you / how do you make money recycling / scrapping, call it what you wish home appliances for scrap metal. Every year 1000's of coffee machines are thrown in rubbish bins, dumpsters and generally as scrappers we tend to leave them due to all the plastic on them. This is what i use to to do until i found the hidden gem inside. I'm talking about the heating element, most of them usually end up in the dirty aluminum pile but if you have access to a forge such as a "Devil forge" and save them up to do a mass melt then you can recover the aluminum, pour into ingots and toss the steel element into the steel shred. Next time you have the chance to pick one up, don't leave behind, grab it and when you have stripped it down add the heating element to your melt pile.
