Nissan Rogue Transmission Swap - Part 5 -Conclusion!

***PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!!*** The new CVT is installed, but we're not quite done! The Nissan Rogue still needs a visit to the dealership to get the Transmission Control Module reset to accept the new CVT unit. But I don't like going to dealerships if at all possible... Bonus material included at the end :) ****CVT TEARDOWN & FAILURE ANALYSIS VIDEOS COMING SOON!***** In the exciting CVT TEARDOWN AND FAILURE ANALYSIS 2-part video series (coming up) we will explore theory and operation of this CVT transmission, discuss engineering design advances and flaws, and finally dig deep to discover the ROOT CAUSE of failure in this particular unit....it is not obvious at first. Our findings here will once and for all answer the popular forum question "why are Nissan CVTs notoriously failure-prone?" You will not see this type of information and failure analysis anywhere else, even in formal training! This is engineering-level stuff, and my true passion for finding faults in a broken system/device. PART 1 of the Teardown will include preliminary transmission disassembly and a glimpse of some of the carnage... PART 2 will feature the juicy bits, including theory and operation, in-depth component-level teardown, and analysis of the critical failure points :) I am charging a nominal fee ($0.99 for 3 days, or $1.99 to purchase) ONLY FOR PART 2 the CVT Teardown to help offset my costs for this project, as well as pay for the $800 core that may not be accepted back by Nissan after our extensive disassembly. There will be no ads on the paid PART 2 video :) As always, I appreciate all the support, comments, and feedback! Enjoy! -Ivan
