Come on board and be with me on my search for a precious gemstone, the black opal. What is a black Opal? Black opal has a dark bodytone that can range from dark grey to black. Most of the time a black opal will have potch (colorless opal) left on the back of the stone (also part of the video). The jar of opals I´m cutting here including some black opals and a lot of dark ones. You will see a process of cutting black opal with a dremel. After this stupid intro we are analyzing the rough opal to find out where the gemstone can be hiding, then cutting these rough opals while I try to give best information. All the time I take it not too serious so this time I was trying to entertain you dressed up like Captain Jack Sparrow and doing a lot of stupid things.
