Today I share an overview on how to conduct field research for UX research! Field research is not one specific method, but pertains to any research done in the "wild", or in your participant's natural environment! Basically any research done outside of a lab is likely field research :) That includes simple "fly on the wall" observation, contextual inquiry, which is a combination of observation and interviews, and also ethnography.
