Luxury Chess Board with Maple Burl, Cocobolo, Ebony, Purpleheart, and White Oak

In this video I show how I made a high-end chess board. The squares are made from maple burl and cocobolo with ebony dividers between each square. The board has a purpleheart border around the playing field and it is framed with quarter sawn white oak. The most challenging part of this build was the joint for the frame. It's a combination miter and bridle joint and it was tricky to cut.
