Narrow Gauge South Exhibition organised by the Wessex Narrow Gauge Modellers. Part 2 of my first visit to this interesting exhibition. Layouts featured in Part 2 are: 00:51 Wantage - 009 (4mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Richard Holder. An interpretation if the Wantage Tramway Upper Yard had been as a narrow gauge line. 03:54 Gretton & Wenlock Railway - 016.5 (7mm scale on 16.5mm gauge) - Steve Green & friends. Based on the railway in Shropshire. 06:10 Fort Whiting - 009 (4mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Charles Insley. Set on a fictional island several hundred miles east of South Africa. 06:49 First - 009 (4mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Steve Clulow. Fictional narrow gauge line in the Cotswolds. 07:43 Tramfabriek: Picnic in Gelderland - H0e (3.5mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Sven van der Hart. Set in the Netherlands in 1950s. 08:01 Tan-y-Llyn - 009 (4mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Steve Flay. Welsh narrow gauge. 11:45 Watchet Quay - 016.5 (7mm scale on 16.5mm gauge) - Peter Jackson. A 'what might have been' station on the Bridgewater to Minehead line. 13:23 Portwenn - 016.5 (7mm scale on 16.5mm gauge) - Simon King. A sleepy fishing village somewhere on the Cornish coast, but not to be confused with the location of the TV series with a similar name! 15:25 Llanfair - 009 (4mm scale on 9mm gauge) - Andy Cundick. A model of the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway terminus in the 1930s.
