Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition - Vlad Dracula "The Breath of the Dragon" | Hard Playthrough

This is my playthrough of the third mission from the Vlad Dracula campaign in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition. I'll be placing time stamps for each part of the scenario in the comments section for those looking for a specific part. Enjoy! Vlad Dracula mission 3 is one of my least favourite missions from any campaign of any game in the RTS genre. The Turks with gold are one of the most brutal civilizations to deal with, and well these Turks are well funded with 4 allies in this scenario. Dealing with 17 range cannon galleons is bad enough, but when everything with gunpowder has +2 range it makes it really hard to push into through a narrow bridge which is made even worse by having significantly less resources than your opponent. I think investing in your navy earlier than I did may help. Don't forget to upgrade your walls early, I forgot so my wall defences against the bridge weren't nearly as effective as they could've been. I think I had quite an optimal start, taking out 2 of my enemies really quickly so they couldn't siege me from all sides. Stay tuned for the rest of my Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition Hard Playthrough! The Vlad Dracula campaign isn't one I'm particularly fond of. It certainly is improved in the Definitive Edition version though. A few of the missions just feel to be overly difficult and a couple too easy, and not in the enjoyable way.
