This Ultra Trail delivers a truly spectacular alpine experience. With a distance of 101km and 6'700m height difference, the E101 is a mighty challenge to even the most seasoned of trail runners. The E101 trail should be completed under the partial self-support principle. This means that as a competitor you are responsible for your own food and drinks between check-points and refreshment zones and must carry the mandatory gear as stated in the race regulations.
