Driven to Perfection: Sandwich Driving 101 - The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Speedrunning History

This video is about the progression of the most infamous driving level in the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. This level never used to be anything special, but now it's finally interesting both in full-game runs and ILs. Even the most boring segments in a run can become unique and fun with the help of dedicated strat-hunters. This was intentional because the original setup was using freecam in Dolphin emulator to slowly guide the patty wagon to the finish line and I felt like the trick would be misunderstood if I put that footage on-screen. People would likely assume that's how the camera worked without freecam. I shortened it to 2300 words. Originally, I went over the brief WR history of the game, short backgrounds of the WR holders and what nitro routes they did even before discussing OOB, but I realised that was pointless. I've gotten a lot better at only saying what's necessary. This is the hardest I've worked on a video and I'm very proud of the result. If this does well, I'd like to make a similar video for Sundae Driving. I'd also like to make a video about Mindy Skip (+ bowl storage) and Pause Storage, but those would take a lot longer, and the former video idea has a lot of potential to become outdated very quickly.
