In this video a Hielscher 2000 watts #sonicator is used to extract hops in a thirty liter batch setup. The #ultrasonic #cavitation can also extract herbs, spices, #psilocybin, #cannabinoids or oak flavors for the oaking of spirits. Using this setup you could process much larger batches, too. Simply place your batch under the ultrasonic probe! Add water or a solvent to the batch! While intense #ultrasonication is powerful enough to extract the plant matter, it does not mix the overall batch volume very well. Mechanical stirring agitates the batch volume and moves material into the cavitation zone. This improves the process uniformity. Extracting a thirty liter batch takes about eight minutes, only.
