This is the follow up from my original [3] video from Poolewe to Fionn Loch and this is a visual route of the walk. originally very low clouds had obscured all mountains. In this return walk there were quite strong winds, hence quite limited drone footage. The walk initially parallels the river Ewe, traverses through gentle undulating open sheep and cattle land, so closing gates as you go is very important. Also having your dog on the leash is requested by local landowners within the sheep / cattle areas. Take your litter home with you as well. Depending on the time of year, there is a variety of wildlife to be seen. Bird life is varied in the woodland area, with both residential and migratory birds. I have seen both Golden eagle and white tailed eagle on the elevated moorland near Fionn Loch. Red deer are also around, but be aware of signage regarding stalking months. The walk is on a road / track so even in wet conditions you keep fairly clean; but once passed the Loch Kernsary cottage it rises reasonably steeply and at elevation the weather can change. Carrying warm and waterproof clothing is worth considering. Any photographs included were taken by myself. Also let someone know your route and your expected return time. “MIDGES '' there were none and it was an unusually sunny and hot day and I had forgotten my water!! . Background music supplied by …. wondershare https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/#walks is now my go to site for walks. Up until now I have been using the walkhighlands boot scale to suggest the level of effort / conditions of my walks. However, I remember starting out on walks and initially found many short walks were difficult but as my fitness returned so did the ease of walks - so ….. 🥾 as a marker of difficulty is only relative to some. This walk is a fair distance and ended up with a large blister on the ball of my left foot (new boots). equipment I use iPhone 12 pro max https://www.apple.com/uk/iphone-12-pro DJI MO 4 https://m.dji.com/uk DJI mini 2 drone https://m.dji.com/uk/product/mini-2 NIKON Z7 II --.. https://www.wexphotovideo.com/search/...
