Ep 4 Northumberland Tour - Kielder Water / Forest, Hadrians Wall, Simon Weir Alston North Loop.

Day 4 of our Motorcycle tour see's us once again adapting a Simon Weir route from his book Bikers Britain. We start filming about 35 miles in as we join the actual route and stop off at the Brocolita car park where we have a short walk to look at the ruins of the Temple of Mithras after riding our Bikes along side the remains of a large portion of Hadrians Wall. Approx 85 miles in and we arrive at Newcastleton for our lunch stop at the Olive Tree cafe, before continuing north up to Hawick for a fuel stop. Its after this where the already cracking scenery becomes even better when entering the Northumberland National Park. As we head east we ride through Kielder Forest and it opens up to the famous Kielder Water where we park up at Hawkhope car park right on the edge of the water and near the Dam. Both John and myself send our DJI drones up for a great aerial view of our beautiful surroundings. We hope you enjoy riding along with us on what was possibly the most picturesque route out of the four we rode in this area.
