This is my travel guide of Kinkakuji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, and answering if it is worth the visit. The golden temple Kinkakuji is one of the top things to do in Kyoto, Japan, making it a very busy tourist attraction. There is even a garden, pond, and other temple sights you can check out while visiting. I recommend you come to this temple early, as it can be very easy even 30 minutes after opening! In the travel guide I cover the 3 architecture styles of each floor of the 3-storied pagoda temple - "shinden zukuri, buke zukuri, and Chinese Zen Temple". Kinkakuji may not be the most peaceful and ideal place to feel the zen of a temple, but it is a sight everyone should see once nonetheless!
