Serhii e Polina, entrambi ucraini, possono vantare una formazione atletica oltre che artistica. Con la direzione di Andriy Pyr, il Duo Cabaret ha allestito una performance acrobatica originale che, ai tessuti o alle cinghie, già apprezzate dal grande pubblico, sostituisce un fascio di trenta corde: ad esse, ma soprattutto alla reciproca sintonia, i due artisti fanno affidamento nel presentare le loro evoluzioni aeree. La coreografia, dalle suggestive atmosfere, è impreziosita dalla colonna sonora offerta da “Missed me” del duo statunitense “The Dresden Dolls”. *** Duo Cabaret had its beginnings in 2016 at the Kiev Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts. Serhii and Polina, both from Ukraine, have a background in athletics as well as in the arts. Under the direction of Andriy Pur, Duo Cabaret has created an original acrobatic aerial number that, instead of using the popular apparatus of silks or straps, uses 30 cords: the two artists depend on this and, above all, on each other to perform their aerial acrobatics. The tantalising choreography is perfectly set to ‘Missed Me’ by American duo ‘The Dresden Dolls’.
