We spent a great weekend at Dreher Island State Park, or as the locals call it - Billy Dreher Island. The park is actually three islands and two campground that extend out into Lake Murray. The 50,000 acre lake was built in the depression and is famous for its fishing and water sports. Most campsites are right on the water and you could pull your boat right up to them.
