Leveraging AI and ChatGPT for Enhanced Financial Presentations

This presentation was created to introduce counselors to the possibility of incorporating AI in their workflow for creating presentations. Much like any new tool, my experience has shown me that many counselors are not utilizing generative AI out of fear of the unknown or a lack of knowledge on how to access and utilize the technology. By exposing counselors to AI in this presentation, I intend to cover not only a brief background of the explosion of generative AI, but also it’s capabilities (and drawbacks) and possible usages in the counseling environment - not necessarily confined to presentations, but for this session that is what will be covered. We will also cover tips for effective implementation, how AI can improve the ability to connect with more diverse audiences who may otherwise be left out, and briefly touch on the ethical implications of utilizing AI in practice. The purpose of the presentation is to expose counselors to generative AI while also instilling confidence to perhaps experiment with it to improve their ability to give relevant and engaging presentations.
