Namaste, My Himachal trip started from Shimla. After spending few days in and around Manali I started Kheerganga trek from Barshaini village. Barsheni village is well connected to Manali via public transport. The length of Kheerganga Trail is about 14 km. The trek has two routes - one from Nakthan village and the other from Pulga village in the middle of the jungles. I started the trek from Pulga route and ended from Nakthan route. It is believed that Lord Shiva (some people say that it is his son Kartik) came to Kheerganga and did meditation for thousands of years. 20 Bhado, hot spring, and gorgeous weather of September made the Kheerganga trek an amazing experience of my life.
