AZ-1/Cara - Outer Door Trim Floppy/Loose Fix (Semi-permanent)

Revisiting a prior video's topic. I replaced my old shrunken outer door trim about a year ago and slipped it back on like the factory did. I found them to be too loose and wiggle free of the door/glass and get bent out of shape from getting caught in the door gap. I didn't want this set to be ruined too as the part may become unavailable and it's expensive. I chose to add a little glue to the trim and slip it onto the door. Seems to be a pretty solid solution. I used E6000 glue and the trim channel was large enough to fit the tip and just allow me to squeeze some glue into it. You don't have to use glue, I think silicone sealant/caulk would work too but this is what I had handy and I'm ok with using it. It seems to have a little bit of flex now that it's cured and still holds. Time will tell.. The door trim seems to shrink on all the Autozam AZ-1s and Suzuki Cara I've seen with the original moulding. 0:00 Intro 1:55 Glue Process 6:25 Few Days Later #autozam #suzuki #gullwing #keicar #jdmcars #az-1 #suzukicara #autozamaz-1 #maintenance #repair #midengine #turbocharged #turbo #mazda
