Everyone works a little differently and we all have tools that we use all the time and tools we never touch. Having a set of customized tool palettes can improve your workflow, not only by paring down the UI to the buttons you use, but by allowing you faster access to functionality that you might regularly used but is hidden away in RMB menus and drop downs.
