Oct 29, 2024: Tackling pre-production plastic pellet pollution at its source This webinar discussed the problem of pre-production plastic pellet leakage into our local aquatic ecosystems and sharee findings from Operation Sweep the Creek, including a pilot installing pellet traps on the lots of local industries to divert pellets from aquatic ecosystems. This webinar was part of a larger series highlighting a selection of our Pollution Prevention Projects – aimed at tackling plastic pollution in our environment, one source at a time! Our Pollution Prevention Projects focus on sources of plastic pollution, informed by the types of plastic we cleanup as part of our Fighting Floatables initiative – aimed at reducing and monitoring plastic pollution and other floating litter.
