This is the part of the process with this book where it's closer to page study and reinterpretation rather than parody, as Lynn Varley's dank cloudy colors are something I would like to emulate as much as possible to retain the feel of TDKR. I am using a small portable Winsor & Newton watercolor set with a Pentel water pen for mark making. Color isn't something I work with a whole lot and one of the things I am trying to be mindful of in this process is that less is always more--especially when it comes to color. So to correct this weakness in my skillset, I will be doing my best to emulate the colors by an artist I admire to not only see what makes the aesthetics of TDKR tick, but hopefully also find some method with which I will be more confident in using colors. Also, sorry about farting real loud towards the middle-end of the video. Sometimes I forget a camera is on my and I'm not just alone in my kitchen.
